Puzzled Comfort Solutions is based in Lexington, the Lexington County seat, and most of our work happens within a short drive of town. US-1 and US-378 run east through Oak Grove toward West Columbia and Cayce, SC-6 runs north to the Lake Murray dam and south through Red Bank toward Swansea, and I-20 and I-26 put Irmo, Seven Oaks, St. Andrews and Columbia within easy reach. That road network decides how quickly we can get to you.

How distance from Lexington shapes scheduling

Lexington County (our home county): Oak Grove, Red Bank, White Knoll, Springdale, South Congaree, Pine Ridge, West Columbia, Cayce, Seven Oaks, Irmo, Edmund, Gilbert and Summit are typically 10 to 20 minutes away. These calls are the easiest to fit in the same day when the schedule allows, and emergencies here are reached fastest.

Columbia and Richland County: Columbia’s older neighborhoods, St. Andrews, Dentsville, Forest Acres, Woodfield near Fort Jackson, Arcadia Lakes, Blythewood and the Lake Murray of Richland shoreline run about 20 to 35 minutes out. Lower Richland communities such as Hopkins and Eastover take longer and are routed together.

Around the lake and the outer Midlands: Chapin, Prosperity, Little Mountain and Pomaria on the north side of Lake Murray, Batesburg-Leesville and Gaston, Swansea and Pelion to the south, and Wagener in Aiken County are scheduled by route. Newberry, Kershaw, Fairfield, Saluda, Calhoun, Aiken, Edgefield, Orangeburg and Sumter counties are the edge of our range: we plan those visits in advance, and preventive maintenance matters more the farther out you are.

Not sure if we reach you? Call with your address. If a job is outside our range, we will tell you so rather than keep you waiting.

Questions about where we work

How far from Lexington do you travel for HVAC service?

Most calls are within about 20 minutes of Lexington: Lexington County towns such as Red Bank, Oak Grove, West Columbia, Cayce and Irmo. We also cover Columbia and the rest of Richland County, the Lake Murray shoreline, and outer Midlands counties out to roughly an hour away, where visits are planned by route. Call with your address and we will tell you plainly whether, and how soon, we can get there.

Is emergency service available outside Lexington County?

Yes. Emergency calls are answered 24/7 wherever we work, but arrival time depends on distance and the calls already open. A no-cooling call in Oak Grove is a short drive; a no-heat call in Sumter or Aiken County is close to an hour. We give an honest estimate on the phone so you can decide, and homes with infants, seniors or medical needs are moved up the list.

My town does not have its own page yet. Do you still serve it?

Very likely. New community pages are added in stages, and the county pages already describe how coverage works across Kershaw, Newberry, Fairfield, Saluda, Calhoun, Aiken, Edgefield, Orangeburg and Sumter counties. If your town sits between two places we list, such as a crossroads off US-1 or SC-6, call with the address and we will confirm it.

Do you charge more for homes farther from Lexington?

Estimates are free wherever we work. For repair visits far out, such as a no-heat call an hour away on a weekend, ask on the phone whether a trip charge applies; you hear it before anyone heads your way. Maintenance in outer counties is easiest to book ahead in spring and fall, when visits can be grouped by route.

Not sure if we reach your address? Call and ask.
